This procedure is used to flatten the abdomen by removing excess fat and skin and tightening the muscles of the abdominal wall. It takes two to five hours and is performed with general anesthesia or local with sedation. Abdominoplasty can be either in or outpatient, depending on individual circumstances and the extent of surgery.
This outpatient procedure is used to enhance the size of breasts using inflatable implants filled with saline. It takes one to two hours and is performed using either general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. Duration of results varies; some implants may require removal or replacement.

This procedure is used to raise and reshape sagging breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning remaining tissue and nipples. It takes one to three hours and is performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. Although it can be an inpatient procedure, it is typically performed on an outpatient basis. Duration of results varies; gravity, pregnancy, aging, and weight changes may cause new sagging. Results may last longer or be enhanced when breast implants are inserted as part of the procedure.

Chemical peels are used to restore wrinkled, blemished, unevenly pigmented, or sun-damaged facial skin using a chemical solution to peel away skin's top layers. The procedure takes one to two hours for the full face. Anesthesia is not required; sedation and EKG monitoring may be used. It is usually an outpatient procedure although a full-face phenol peel may require admission for one to two days.
The procedure works best on fair, thin skin with superficial wrinkles. Phenol peels are permanent, although new wrinkles may form as skin ages. Results with trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels vary as this is a temporary procedure.

This procedure is used to plump up creased, furrowed, or sunken facial skin; add fullness to lips and backs of hands. Each outpatient session lasts 15 minutes to one hour. Collagen injections typically do not require sedation, although local may be used. Fat injections require local anesthesia. Collagen/fat injections work best on thin, dry, light-colored skin. Duration of results varies, but typically last a few months to one year.

This procedure involves the mechanical scraping of the top layers of skin using a high-speed rotary wheel to soften sharp edges of surface irregularities, including acne and other scars and fine wrinkles, especially around the mouth. Each session takes a few minutes to one hour; multiple sessions may be required. This outpatient procedure typically uses local anesthesia or numbing spray; rarely, general anesthesia is used. Results are permanent, although new wrinkles may form as skin ages.

This procedure is used to set prominent ears back closer to the head or reduce the size of large ears. It is most often done on children between the ages of four and 14 years. This outpatient procedure typically lasts two to three hours. General anesthesia is typically used for younger children; older children and adults may receive general anesthesia, or local with sedation. Results are usually permanent.

This procedure is used to correct drooping upper eyelids and puffy bags below the eyes by removing excess fat, skin, and muscle. It takes one to three hours and is typically performed on an outpatient basis. General anesthesia may be used, but it is typically performed using local with sedation.
Although typically considered cosmetic, upper-eyelid surgery may be covered by insurance if used to correct visual field defects. Results last several years and are sometimes permanent.
This procedure is used to improve sagging facial skin, jowls, and loose neck skin by removing excess fat, tightening muscles and re-draping skin. A facelift takes several hours using either general anesthesia, or local with sedation. It is typically outpatient although some patients may require a short inpatient stay. Results typically last five to 10 years.

This procedure is used to change the basic shape and balance of the face using carefully shaped implants to build up a receding chin, add prominence to cheekbones or reshape the jawline. It takes 30 minutes to two hours and is performed under general anesthesia, or local with sedation. It is typically outpatient, although an overnight stay is occasionally required. Results are typically permanent.

This procedure helps to minimize forehead creases, drooping eyebrows, hooding over eyes, furrowed forehead and frown lines by removing excess tissue, altering muscles and tightening the forehead skin. It takes one to two hours and is performed under either general anesthesia or local with sedation. It may be performed using the traditional technique in which an incision is made across the top of the head, just below the hairline, or with the use of an endoscope, which requires only three to five small incisions. Results usually last five to 10 years.

This procedure is used to fill in balding areas with a patient's own hair using a variety of techniques including scalp reduction, tissue expansion, strip grafts, scalp flaps or clusters of punch grafts (plugs, miniplugs and microplugs). It takes one to three hours and is performed using local anesthesia with sedation. Flaps and tissue expansion may require general anesthesia. Some techniques may require multiple procedures over 18 months or more. The procedure works best on men with male pattern baldness after hair loss has stopped. Results are usually permanent.

This procedure is used to smooth the face and smooth fine wrinkles using a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser device that treats layers of damaged skin. It also softens lines around the eyes and mouth and minimizes facial scars and unevenly pigmented areas. Unless combined with other procedures that require hospitalization, the procedure takes a few minutes to one hour and is typically performed using local anesthesia with sedation. It may require more than one session. Results are long lasting, but does not stop aging; new wrinkles and expression lines may form as skin ages.

Liposuction can help improve body shape by removing exercise-resistant fat deposits with a tube and vacuum device. Common locations for liposuction include chin, cheeks, neck, upper arms, above breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, calves and ankles.
The procedure is often performed using the tumescent technique, in which targeted fat cells are infused with a solution of saline and a local anesthetic before liposuction to reduce post-operative bruising and swelling. For larger volumes of fat or fibrous body areas a new technique, ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty (UAL), may be used. With UAL, an ultrasound probe is inserted beneath the skin to "liquify" the fat before it is suctioned. Typically performed on an outpatient basis, extensive procedures may require a short inpatient stay. Traditional liposuction typically takes one to two hours or more; UAL takes 20-40 percent longer. General, epidural or local anesthesia may be used. Results can be permanent with sensible diet and exercise

This procedure is used to reduce enlarged, female-like breast in men using liposuction and/or removal of excess glandular tissue. It takes one hour or more and is performed under general or local anesthesia. Results are permanent. This procedure may be covered by medical insurance.

This procedure is used to reshape the nose by reducing or increasing size, removing hump, changing shape of tip or bridge, narrowing span of nostrils or changing the angle between the nose and upper lip. It may also relieve some breathing problems. The outpatient procedure takes one to two hours or more and is performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. Results are typically permanent. Depending on the circumstances, this procedure may be covered by insurance.
